I'm currently installing ESXI on a brand new Server (I literally just took it out of the packaging). It errors out with the message 'Fatal error: 10 (out of resources)' while loading /s.v00. I read about switching around some memory settings but the only settings I could find were TOLUD, I switched that around (Tried 2gb, 3gb, 3.5gb) but it didn't change anything. My server: Thomas Krenn RI1102H Tried ESXI 5.5 installer as well as the 6.0u2 installer, they both failed at the same spot. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm trying to install ESXi5.5 on a Dell PowerEdge R730 server we just got and a few minutes into the VMware install I get a 'Fatal Error 6 Buffer Too Small'. The system just hangs there. I've tried ESXi5.1 and ESXi5.5 w/ and w/o Dell customization. The error comes up after different files with the different installs (although always in the same spot for the same install) so it makes it look like a size related issue. I've tried turning off PXE, network cards, Dell's new Life Cycle controller, iDrac, etc.

I tried multiple CD drives, multiple burns and multiple ISOs. I've reformatted the storage pools.

Download megaman x4 full. I'm kind of out of things to try. I've never had problems installing VMware before. It is a 128GB ram system with 3 TB across SAS 8 drives and VMware claims it is all supported hardware. The only thing different from other systems I've used is the build-in SD cards. I've googled and there are a lot of people getting the Error 6 but the dell customizations seemed to fix everything for them.
