EBS Release: Oracle Applications: 12.1.3 This post is aimed at helping in enabling/disabling concurrent program parameters. This solution focuses on below requirements: • There are two concurrent program parameters, one which has list of values as associated value set attached, whereas second parameter is such that it is free NUMBER type field. • Whenever users choose concurrent program(View - Requests - Submit a New Request - Single Request), both fields must be enabled initially. • Whenever users populate first parameter, second parameter should become disabled. 'If parameter A is given as input, other parameters i.e B,C,D should be disabled/greyed out. ' - This is possible using above approach of using a dummy variable after first parameter i.e.
A and reference this in other 3 parameters. 'If parameter B is given as input, others i.e A,C,D should be grayed out. ' - When B is entered C, D can be greyed out using another dummy parameter after B, but A can never grey out. There is no point in actually making A as greyed out as you will not be entering any value here. If after entering value in B, you try to enter value in A, then B, C and D would automatically be greyed out. 'If C is the input, A&D should be grayed out, B should be available for data entry.
' - Again as said above, if you enter value in C, then no point in enter value in B as you are violating your own requirement which says, if B is entered, then others should be greyed out. Hi Munish Bhagat, I need help. How do I make parameters disable from beginning when I run new request? I want all parameters disabled if the user_id profile does not match, but enable if match, and the parameter has filled the value according to the user_id profile.
For example, the value of employee_name parameter will appear in accordance with its user_id profile. So I just click submit. But If user_id profile match, I can choose the value from LOV, then submit it. I've tried it, but its value does not appear in its parameters.
Could you help me? Thanks in advance, Baskoro.
