Jeff and Sheri Easter, 'Life is Great and Gettin' Better', Southern Gospel Music, Lyrics, and More Jeff and Sheri Easter are one of Southern Gospel Music’s most beloved couples. They have been singing Southern Gospel music for most of their lives and their latest album, ' shows this couple at their best. In addition to singing, the two have also penned some of the most moving Southern Gospel lyrics. Jeff and Sheri were married in June of 1984 after meeting just ten months prior at the Albert E. Brumley Sundown to Sunup Gospel Sing in Arkansas. Prior to forming their own Southern Gospel group, Jeff and Sheri Easter toured with Sheri’s family, Southern Gospel and Bluegrass favorites, The Lewis Family.

Since 1988 Jeff and Sheri have recorded 25 albums together, as soloists, or with friends. They have been nominated for, and have won numerous awards including Dove Awards, Grammy Awards, Bluegrass Awards and many others.

Following in the tradition of The Lewis Family, Jeff and Sheri Easter tour and perform as a family. Joining them on the road and on stage are their son, Madison, who plays electric guitar, and daughter, Morgan, who joins them for an occasional solo. The youngest daughter, Maura Grace, smiles from the bus. Joining Jeff and Sheri Easter on stage are Greg and, both having joined the group in the mid 1990’s. So if you’ve got a great song like “Praise His Name” or “Roses Will Bloom Again” and the DJ’s don’t get it and or o one is promoting it and.I think what it boils down to, is it’s just like anything else, you have to promote a song.

So when we did this record – we own the record “Life Is Great and Getting Better”- we didn’t do it with a record company, we took a big chance and buddy when the first single came out we pulled out all the stops. In my opinion the greatest radio promoter is Rhonda Thompson.
